I was a part of the historic freshman class in 2014, which brought back Men’s Tennis to NCAT since the 90s. I was a leader on the team and always found ways to uplift my teammates.

Going to a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), I know the importance of my history. There was a point in time when someone with my skin color could not go to any college. I joined this fraternity as it stands for community, freedom, and equality for all.

As a freshman, I became involved with student activities and began to learn the importance of connections and proper planning.

I implemented performance measurements including 20.5K Twitter Impressions & 700 surveys. Directed brand awareness and was awarded Intern of The Year to the CEO in headquarters.

Stepping out of my comfort zone, I ran for Junior Class President and won 70% of the votes. This boosted my confidence and allowed me to develop early leadership skills.

I went on to work for Abbott Laboratories for 3 summers in Virginia, Arizona, and eventually Menlo Park, California.

As president, I implemented community, student, and career development events. I stepped outside the box by partnering with local organizations to uplift my surrounding communities.

Featured with Magic Johnson & The Lakers to assist in their student program. I learned about NBA Organizations, Analytics, Player Management, and life of a CEO.

Selected out of 5,00 students to join Thurgood Marshall College Fund Hackathon Competition.

Created a Professional Development Business, called Resume Plug. We help women and minorities break into the workforce.

Worked as a press escort for BET, Tyler Perry, and other events. I briefed celebrities on the red carpet concerning media outlet options while built a great rapport.

Graduated with a 3.5 GPA and a full-time job offer as an Account Manager at Facebook. As a student, I took full advantage of every opportunity to learn, grow, and develop my business skills.
